The “high-level” discussions held Monday, February 27, aims to determine and address problems hounding schools under DepEd’s offices in Soccsksargen.
Specifically, there are eight school division offices in the region with more than 44,000 personnel serving more than 1 million learners.“The recent high-level consultation activity garnered a total of 180 issues and concerns from the field, which were clarified or addressed immediately by the Execom members,” DepEd said in a statement.
During the talk, DepEd Soccsksargen representatives voiced concerns about the individual strands’ finances, administration, school infrastructure and facilities, legal and legislative issues, and procurement.
