VICE President Sara Duterte said that the Department of Education is 'open' to discuss with Congress the proposed 'No Permit, No Exam' bill which passed on third and final reading at the Senate and House of Representatives.
The measure prevents students from taking their exams due to unsettled school obligations.
In an ambush interview in Quezon City on Tuesday, Duterte, also the Secretary of Education, said DepEd is 'open' to consult with Congress over the final version of the bill.Duterte said in Filipino that the DepEd 'fully commits' to all the hearings where it will be summoned. The bill is ready for deliberations at the Bicameral Conference Committee.
