A walk and a pint... bliss
There are few finer things in life than a pint in a cosy country pub at the end of a walk in the Peak District .
But these stats don't factor in density and proximity of the pubs. Rambler Inn, Edale Not far from Edale train station, the Rambler Inn is perfect for walkers who’ve arrived by rail and need a bite to eat before heading home. The Old Nags Head has an impressive stone fireplace , exposed beams with metal tankards hanging from them and even a piano. This place most definitely doesn’t lack atmosphere.
Using local suppliers, the menu has everything you could think of, with seasonal specials, vegan options and a tapas selection. With open fires and exposed beams, this pub is full of character and has a warming and cosy atmosphere.
