EXCLUSIVE: Shamed SNP chief Derek Mackay sent late-night Facebook messages to teen boy while on holiday with his lover
to avoid a face-to-face encounter with the powerful MSP who was tipped as the next First Minister, taking "full responsibility" for his "foolish actions"The teenager told the Nats big-hitter: “I’m going on holiday on Wednesday so I’ll probably come after that.” Mackay replied: “Cool. I’m away to the Canary Islands. Winter sun.”He then pestered the lad about attending a Scottish Rugby Union event being held at Holyrood.
In one of their first chats, Mackay offered to pay for the teenager to go to a rugby match. He said: “I could take you?”
