The Kilmarnock boss has already said no to Rangers
That is the view of Ross McCormack with Philippe Clement coming under increased scrutiny at Ibrox in the midst of a nightmare campaign. Rangers came calling for McInnes back in 2017 while he was in charge at Aberdeen - but he would sensationally exit talks to become Pedro Caixinha's permanent successor at the 11th hour.
"If Rangers think that they’ve got a lot of players on the books that are not going to leave because say that their wages are too high so they’re going to sit there. Might take them two to three windows to get rid of all of their players. Incoming Ibrox CEO Patrick Stewart will start in his new role on December 16 - following a massive week for Belgian boss Clement where he will face Tottenham in the Europa League and Celtic in the Premier Sports Cup final. He is expected to be followed by Malcolm Offord as the new chairman - and McManus reckons that could present the perfect time for the new powerbrokers to pull the trigger.
