Biden calls Trump supporters ‘garbage’
THE Democrats have gone into defense mode as they try to walk back Joe Biden’s shocking comment against Donald Trump supporters.
In a video appearance with Hispanic get-out-the-vote effort Voto Latino, Biden said, "Well, let me tell you something … I don’t know the Puerto Rican that I know… or Puerto Rico where I’m – in my home state of Delaware – they’re good, decent, honorable people." His party has even been accused of editing the official transcript from the call by adding an apostrophe to the 81-year-old's words.
