A CLEVER mum was forced to make her own toilet paper after she attempted to get her hands on some four times - only to be met with empty supermarket shelves and no chance of picking up some rolls for her family.
Ensuring the idea is practical, the woman said: "After use, they go straight into a bucket of bleach with a lid on it, which sits beside the toilet." She also picked up a small plastic tub from the hardware store to keep the cloths in which set her back an extra couple of pounds, but anything can be used the store the toilet paper alternative.
The mum added that originally she thought about using old towels, but decided on microfibre as it's "softer for the feminine bits and dries quicker when washed". The woman's post attracted a huge response, with many people applauding her for her clever idea and creativity during these difficult times.
