Emergency services begun the search again this morning for the dad who fell overboard when the boat he was on with his family broke down.
Two parents and four children were onboard a boat that had broken down on Kinchant Dam west of Mackay about 11.15am yesterday.Lake Kinchant has been closed as emergency services scour the waters for the missing dad.
All emergency services, including police, paramedics, firefighters, SES, RACQ Rescue and volunteers, rushed to the scene. The girl was located and taken to hospital without any injuries, while the mother and three remaining children were taken from the boat safely to shore. The search started back up again about 7am today with water police also on scene conducting assessments, a Queensland Police spokesperson said. Continue reading
