While the finale adds much-needed content to the game, there is, unfortunately, some controversy amongst the community.

Hopefully these balance changes and the start of Revenant Act 3 will boost the game’s player count as recently it has plummeted to an all-time low with While Revenant Act 3 is a good way to start the new year with new content, the unfortunate news is that player discontent has carried over from 2024, with some in the Destiny 2 community disappointed by the Slayer’s Fang exotic shotgun.Slayer’s Fang is part of Destiny 2 Revenant Act 3. To get the new exotic shotgun, you must simply complete the Kell’s Fall mission. It has 2,010 power along with the following stats:It has a cool design, but the reaction has been mixed. On Reddit, there are calls for Bungie to buff its ammo capacity, but most of the uproar is from the developer appearing to mislead players in the Revenant Act 3 trailer., Bungie “put the shotgun’s name on the screen, show someone getting kills with the shotgun, and then immediately cut to a rain of void damage after the kill in the same shot”. This has resulted in accusations that Bungie advertised the void rain artifact perk as part of the shotgun, which clearly isn’t the case.The trailer sequence has some players accusing Bungie of lying about the shotgun with accusations that “they knew what they were doing”
