Details of Archie Mountbatten-Windsor's first birthday have been revealed one week after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle celebrated the milestone with their son.
The insider said: "Meghan made the cake — strawberries and cream. And Harry helped with decorations and blew up balloons." It is also believed that Archie and his parents enjoyed video calls with their family and his Godparents on his lockdown birthday. Supporting charity Save The Children and their #SaveWithStories campaign, Meghan read the book to Archie as he writhed around on her lap.
The Duke has long been active in charity work for children and young people, notably in Africa. The Duchess has spoken passionately about gender equality, focusing global attention on the disadvantages faced by girls in health, education and prospects for work.
