Detectives have initiated a new investigation into more than five individuals suspected of aiding Mohamed al Fayed in widespread sexual abuse over nearly four decades. The allegations, which include rape and sexual assault, span from 1977 to 2014, with the youngest victim being 13 years old at the time of the alleged abuse. Previous investigations involving 21 women from 2005 to 2023 did not result in charges against the deceased billionaire businessman.
Since then, over 150 people have come forward, with 90 identified as potential victims. The Metropolitan Police are now investigating Fayed's associates for suspected complicity in the abuse. Commander Stephen Clayman acknowledged the bravery of the victims and expressed commitment to seeking justice for them
