A dynamic startup in Bespoke Software Development, seeks the technical expertise of a DevOps Engineer with a passion for automation & continuous improvement, who will play a crucial role in establishing its infrastructure.
You will be responsible for building and maintaining the environments, integrating them with a CI/CD pipeline using GitLab, and migrating current code to Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate must have strong proficiency in AIX operating system administration, including package management, user management, and network configuration, have expertise in DB2, SQL, GitLab CI/CD, be familiar with Linux & TeamCity and have experience with scripting languages like Bash, Python or PowerShell.Integrate the environments with a GitLab CI/CD pipeline, automating deployment and testing processes.Collaborate with development, testing, and operations teams to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.Automate routine tasks using scripting languages .Strong proficiency in AIX operating system administration, including package management, user management, and network configuration. Expertise in DB2 and SQL database administration, installation, configuration, and performance tuning.Experience with scripting languages like Bash, Python, or PowerShell.Experience with cloud platforms, especially Microsoft Azure.Experience with Configuration Management tools .Strong communication and collaboration skills.
