The country’s top diplomat made the pronouncement as he lamented the “daily incidents” of harassment that Filipinos experience in the South China Sea as well as land reclamation activities, “which in many cases have been depriving the Philippines of the use of our exclusive economic zone .” “So we’re abiding by that,” Manalo said, noting it is “these challenges” that the Philippines is facing.
