Greg Fields has a look at the Tuesday forecast after Monday night's storms.
Here's the latest forecast for North Texas this week and weekend: Early-week storms have moved out as cooler, drier air settles in the rest of Tuesday. Tuesday morning temperatures trended ten to fifteen degrees cooler than Monday morning lows. The cooler air keeps highs in the mid-60s for Tuesday afternoon. With drier air moving in, no rain is expected. The rest of the week will be mostly sunny and dry.
Higher humidity is expected on Saturday as Gulf moisture surges into North Texas late this week. Our next system interacts with that moisture to bring our next round of showers and storms. As of now, it looks like storms will begin west of North Texas before arriving in our region late Saturday through Saturday night. It does look like the environment could support some strong to severe storms during this timeframe.
