Blizzard has said it will address player concerns regarding the recent Diablo IV nerfs this week...
— and in preparation of the highly anticipated event, Blizard has rolled out the pre-season patch, Update 1.1. Although the patch includes a number of great new additions and changes, its numerous nerfs to the likes of damage, XP, and each class, have seen players hit back at Blizzard. The developer said that it will hold a Campfire Chat on Friday to"talk more about it.
While the Sorcerer class looks to have been hit the hardest, all classes are feeling the sting of the latest update, which sees a reduction to critical strike and vulnerable damage, as well as the experience you gain from killing higher-level enemies. Numerous affixes have also been modified, which has caused issues with various builds within the game. As for Helltide zones, the cost of opening Mysterious Chests has been increased, while the enemies themselves will now be stronger.
Players have voiced their disapproval of Blizzard's changes. Over on Reddit, user TheMorals has recieved over 21,000 upvotes on their post listing some of the recent nerfs, saying:"It is not like this game was lightning fast to begin with, but now it is a proper slog." Similar sentiments are being shared on Twitter too.,"We have been hearing feedback from players regarding some of the changes in 1.1.0 for #DiabloIV.
