Diablo 4 solo streamer reaches level 100 hardcore race target, but fans question his legitimacy DiabloIV Diablo4 Blizzard
The Diablo 4 hardcore race has already started heating up now that the four-day early access period has concluded. Following cArn_’s initial successful attempt to win the race with the help of his clanmates, a Diablo 4 content creator named wudijo has finally made it to the top as well, making him the first to reach the finish line completely solo.
As he was streaming his attempt, wudijo predictably went through several near-death experiences that had viewers on the edge of their seats. Luckily, he was able to rally in the end with the use of hisNow that he’s been declared as one of the winners, however, some fans aren’t taking his victory all that well since he was able to prepare for the race thoroughly using the in-depth early access period provided by Blizzard.
Of course, this has inevitably frustrated a few players since the alleged 10-day head start that wudijo reportedly had was unfair to the rest of the competitors. A handful of users commenting under a certainfuhrerkingpaimon noted that “the others went in blind [while] wudi had 10 days to r&d his strategy.” Another user named boxxeram then went on to add the following: “He had 9 days to plan his route. He already played the game and doing that on HC is an insane advantage.” Although these responses do make some good points about wudijo’s hardcore run, it still doesn’t take away from the fact that it’s an incredibly impressive feat that took a ton of planning, skill, and sheer luck.
Unfortunately, the fact that he did get an early head start over the rest of the player base does fairly disqualify him from having his named immortalized onto Blizzard’s Lilith statue. Nevertheless, wudijo’s name will still be remembered among the community for years to come as the first to conquer the Diablo 4 hardcore mountain completely solo.
