Award-winning songwriter Diane Warren revealed that she lost her cherished white Yamaha piano in the devastating wildfires that swept through parts of Los Angeles earlier this month. The 68-year-old shared the news days after her Malibu beachside home, reportedly purchased for $5.2 million, was ravaged by the blaze. In a poignant post on Instagram, Warren, who has penned numerous hit songs for artists like Cher, Beyoncé, Celine Dion, and Aerosmith, expressed her profound loss.

'Thinking about the songs thru the years I worked on here and some crazy memories.' She continued, 'To all my friends and to everyone who lost their homes, sending U all love and strength.' A video she posted showed the charred remnants of her once-beautiful home – nothing remained except some twisted metal, a solitary red fire hydrant, and a few beams, standing as silent witnesses to the ferocious fire that swept through the Pacific Palisades neighborhood.Missing amidst the devastation was Warren's beloved white piano. A separate video, captured by a friend and shared by Warren, offered a somber glimpse into the aftermath. 'This is ... Diane's,' the friend stated, his voice heavy with emotion, before revealing the house's street number. The sound of wind and waves crashing against the shore served as a haunting backdrop. 'Not much left,' he added, panning the camera to survey the destruction. Standing at street level, he pointed to a lower level of the home that extended down to the beach, revealing more scrap metal and debris. 'Devastated. Nothing left,' he finally concluded, his voice laced with despair. In her caption accompanying the video, Warren simply wrote, 'Hadn't seen it til now. Goodbye beautiful old friend.'
