BBC Strictly Come Dancing 's Dianne Buswell has come to her own defence regarding her animated reaction with celebrity partner Chris McCausland after their latest performance, which had sparked discussions among viewers. Despite a slightly lower score of 32 last week, blind comedian Chris McCausland has made it through to the semi-finals of the hit BBC dance show, while Montell Douglas and Johannes Radebe were sent home just shy of the series' penultimate episode.
The footage showed Dianne exuberantly screaming and jumping, with Chris humorously asking: "Had I stood on your toe?"To this, Dianne explained: "I saw someone online say that I sounded a bit like a seagull and watching that back, yes I did sound a bit like a seagull. But I just get so proud, and for me that was one of Chris' best dances, and it just felt...I felt like a professional dancer dancing with another professional and I enjoyed it so much.
The pair are preparing to perform twice in the semi-final this Saturday, with dances including a Charleston and a Viennese waltz set to Metallica'sNothing Else Matters. Fans continue to be captivated by the duo and are rooting for them to reach the final.
