The original indictment had listed an unnamed victim which is believed to be his ex-girlfriend, Cassie, whom he dated from 2007 through 2018. The filing labels the first victim in the alleged sex trafficking operation as 'Victim 1' - and is seemingly referencing to Cassie. His attorneys also accused Victim 1 of extortion and claimed they had asked for $30 million in order to obtain rights for a tell-all book about their past relationship. His legal representation has made similar attempts multiple times previously, however, they believe this time is different as they have cited other cases where they say defendants accused of similar crimes had been allowed to post bail while awaiting their trial.
