Diego Maradona’s infamous ‘Hand of God’ ball will be sold by a Northamptonshire auctioneer. An estimate of £2.5-£3million has been placed on the ball, with which Argentina captain Maradona scored two goals to knock England out of the 1986 World Cup.
“The Maradona shirt ended up making seven million, so you simply never know at auction,” Budd told the PA news agency.
