‘Sleeping on the sofa is just killing me because of my condition and mobility issues, I can’t lie down so I’m sleeping propped up with cushions.‘I need to lie in my bed in my bedroom, but I just can’t do that comfortably so it’s just awful.’The mould started taking over the house months after the couple moved in She and her husband David, 52, have resorted to extreme measures to try and reduce the amount of condensation contributing to the mould.

They have complained to the housing association running their home, but claim their appointments keep getting cancelled.
