The devastated parents of a woman who died months after a period of neglect in hospital have paid tribute to their ‘party animal’ daughter.
An inquest heard that six months before her death, she was admitted to Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital and diagnosed with sepsis. After that, she was discharged to the Walkergate Hospital to undergo rehabilitation and gain her independence back.However, she suffered a cardiac arrest and was rushed back to the RVI, where she sadly died on June 22 last year.
