Disgraced former GOP Idaho rep is convicted of raping 19 year-old intern after inviting her for dinner, then taking her to his apartment and leaving gun out on view
Aaron von Ehlinger, 39, was found guilty on Friday of raping a then-19 year-old woman who worked as an intern for a fellow Republican in the state legislature. He was charged with two felony counts - rape and forcible penetration by use of a foreign object - and was found not guilty of forcible penetration. The jury took 11 hours to reach their verdict at the end of an emotional three-day trial.
