Former Tarlac mayor Alice Guo has been transferred from the PNP Custodial Center in Camp Crame to the Pasig City Jail Female Dormitory. The transfer, initially scheduled for Friday, was delayed due to incomplete requirements, including a medical assessment.
Dismissed Bamban, Tarlac mayor Alice Guo was transferred to Pasig City Jail Female Dormitory from the PNP Custodial Center in Camp Crame, Quezon City on Monday morning.The convoy of Guo arrived at the Pasig jail around 9:14 a.m., according to a report of Mark Makalalad on Super Radyo dzBB.Her convoy exited the detention facility in Camp Crame around 8:49 a.m., GMA Integrated News ’ James Agustin said on X .
Guo was supposed to be transferred to the Pasig City Jail on Friday but it did not push through as the Philippine National Police had yet to complete several requirements, including her medical assessment.Guo will be sharing the detention facility with 44 inmates. The area, however, was designed to accommodate only nine detainees.Due to security concerns, Guo's camp hoped that she would remain in the custody of the PNP.
