Disney Pixar has unveiled its first non-binary character in its brand new release Elemental.
‘The fact they’re also the same age as me, I’m gonna feel so represented when I watch Elemental,’ shared another.However, other fans were wondering about past Pixar characters too, and in particular Francis the ladybird from 1998’s A Bug’s Life.
‘So we just gonna pretend like Francis never existed?’ asked one fan, while another stated: ‘Lake will never represent me as much as Francis did.’ The studio has recently debuted a lot of firsts in its bid to become more inclusive and accurately reflect all of its fans across the world.in ballerina Bianca, the heroine of the short Reflect, part of season two of Short Circuit, a series of experimental short films from Walt Disney Animation Studios.
