Disney+ is introducing a new charge for customers who share their subscriptions with friends and family - a move which could see many customers paying significantly more
Disney+ is introducing an additional fee of up to £4.99 per month for customers who share their account with others outside of their household.
"They will need to sign up and pay for their own subscription or be added as an Extra Member to your account for an additional monthly fee to continue enjoying Disney+." The cost of this additional profile will be £3.99 per month for "Standard with Ads" plan subscribers and £4.99 per month for those with "Standard" or "Premium" plans, amounting to nearly £60 extra annually. This supplementary member will be limited to streaming on a single device at a time and must not have previously held a Disney+ membership.
