Cinderella and Rapunzel brightened the day for young patients at Glasgow Children's Hospital with a surprise visit.
Patients at Glasgow 's Children's Hospital received a surprise visit from Disney princesses this week. Cinderella and Rapunzel from Glasgow -based company Wish Upon a Star Kingdom made a surprise visit to the hospital this week, putting a smile on their little faces in the lead up to Christmas .
Hospital stays can be incredibly difficult, especially for young families and so near to Christmas time however, Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity work hard to support young patients - particularly over the festive period. This month, patients have received visits from Celtic FC's First Team, the Glasgow Warriors, the Scottish Ballet, Star Wars characters and stars from the Caledonia Gladiators. Posting online about Cinderella and Rapunzel's visit, the charity wrote: 'Our friends Cinderella & Rapunzel were so excited to meet our little princes & princesses in @rhcglasgow this Christmas. 'Thanks to @WUASKingdom for this magical event!' The hospital's charity rely solely on donations to fund life-changing equipment, support services and research. To donate, click here.
