Police in Nottinghamshire have implemented a dispersal order in Bulwell town center to curb reports of anti-social behavior, particularly involving children. A dispersal order will be enforced over the weekend in response to reports of anti-social behavior in Bulwell , a town in Nottinghamshire. The order will cover Bulwell town center and the surrounding streets. Under the Section 34 Dispersal Order , individuals engaged in criminal activity or anti-social behavior can be directed to leave the designated area. Those who refuse to comply may face arrest.
Bulwell, Rise Park, and Highbury Vale Police announced the order, which will remain in effect until 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, January 19th. In a Facebook post today, Friday, January 17th, police stated: 'Please be aware that this is a Section 34 Dispersal Order in place until 14:30 on 19/01/2025 following several reports of Anti-Social Behavior, generally involving children. This order allows officers to direct anyone engaging, or reasonably believed to be engaging in Anti-Social Behavior to leave the area. Anyone that fails to leave the area when directed will be arrested. Anyone under the age of 16 believed to be engaging in ASB will be returned to their home addresses.' The order's boundary encompasses Carey Road, Cantrell Road, Station Road, Bulwell Bogs, Bulwell High Road, Commercial Road, Rock Street, Squires Avenue, Main Street, and Hucknall Lane, extending down to Leen Drive.
