Michael Francis has lost 8,000 followers, which he says is due to the hacker posting explicit content. The 64-year-old is recovering from a heart attack and is under a great deal of stress.

A man who has spent the last five years posting about Glasgow's rich history and culture has slammed Facebook over their "failure" to remove a hacker who has been posting X-rated content on his page.

The 64-year-old's page, which had 34,000 followers, was recently monetised - meaning that the social media platform pays him around £50 a month for each post. But, he will have to make at least £100 a month to get paid.READ MORE: Car crashes into Coatbridge card factory shop leaving front window destroyed

"It’s having an impact on my health and I am trying to keep away from FB because of the stress it is causing me.
