The Department of Migrant Workers is looking to repatriate all distressed overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) in Kuwait by the end of January, DMW Undersecretary Hans Cacdac said.

“For the rest of next week, maibaba na sa 120 ang distressed OFWs sa Kuwait until makauwi na silang lahat by the end of this month,” said Cacdac in an interview on Super Radyo dzBB.Cacdac shared that another batch of 120 would be arriving by next Tuesday.

“Bagama't wala tayong nakitang distressed OFWs na nasa shelter na nabiktima ng malubhang physical abuse ng kanilang mga employer, nakikita pa rin ang abuses in terms sa paglabag sa kontrata,” he said.
