Starring Ncuti Gatwa as the Fifteenth Doctor alongside companion actresses Varada Sethu and Millie Gibson, the Time Lord will soon return for Doctor Who season 14, which premieres on May 11. Season 14 will also see the full-time return of showrunner Russell T.
The cover is made to look just like the album cover, with each of the now-sextet’s faces obscured by partial shadow. The Doctor Who team captioned the post with “John & Paul & Ringo & George... & the Doctor & Ruby?” This crossover is a clever way to promote The Beatles episode of Doctor Who season 14, but one cannot help but find the Beatles actor choices to be slightly concerning. Save the period-appropriate haircuts, none of the four of them really resemble The Beatles at all. The John Lennon actor looks vaguely like a stern, young Matt Damon, and the Ringo actor’s goofy smile and haircut makes him look strikingly similar to The Big Bang Theory’s Howard Wolowitz.
