The low price may be tempting, but these pictures reveal just how badly things can go wrong with dodgy hair transplants.
They were released by the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery which is warning about procedures done by ‘taxi drivers and Syrian refugees with no training’.The number of people getting hair transplants has risen by 181 per cent The images show men and women who have been left with injuries from the operations or too much hair taken from their heads.
There is strict regulation in the UK where clinics have to register with the NHS and the Care Quality Commission.
