A man was attacked by a dog on Stornoway, Isle of Lewis, on New Year's Day. Police responded and the dog was euthanized with the owner's permission. An investigation is underway to determine the full circumstances of the attack.
The horror incident took place on Stornoway, on the Isle of Lewis, on New Year's Day during the morning. Cops raced to the home address and the dog was put down with the permission of the owner.
Cops have launched a probe into the incident while they establish the full circumstances surrounding the brutal attack. A spokesperson for the Force said: "Officers are aware of an incident of a dog attacking a man at an address in Stornoway on the morning of Wednesday, 1 January, 2025. The dog was euthanised with the permission of the owner. Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances."
