A company is recalling hundreds of bags of one of its dry dog food products over concerns that they may contain loose metal pieces.Mars Petcare US is voluntarily recalling 315 bags of PEDIGREE® Adult Complete Nutrition Grilled Steak & Vegetable Flavor Dry Dog Food in the 44-pound bag size. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has shared the company's announcement on its website on Saturday.The recalled products have a best-by date of March 4, 2025, and lot code 410B2TXT02.
Consumers are asked to contact Mars Petcare US consumer care to initiate a return or if they have any questions by calling 1-800-525-5273 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. CST Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
