Dog owner's warning as golden retriever dies after swallowing rope toy
A DEVASTATED dog lover has warned of the dangers of rope toys - after her beloved golden retriever died after swallowing one.
She returned to find the toy had been destroyed and vets later discovered that some of the rope was tangled around the unnamed dog's organs. "They also removed 14 inches of perforated intestines. The damage from the rope was so extensive that she passed away two days later."She quickly became septic and bled from her intestines into her stomach. I wanted to warn everyone of how dangerous these toys are."
