“[There were] 52,262 children in 56 vaccination sites [who] were inoculated since the DOH started its pediatric vaccination,” DOH Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire reported on Friday, Feb. 11. The Philippine government started its COVID-19 vaccination program for the said younger population last Monday, Feb. 7.In a related development, the country’s third national vaccination drive will be extended until Feb. 18. This initiative started on Thursday, Feb. 10.
