Metro Manila still leads the list of regions with the most number of cases in the past two weeks with 2,092 cases, followed by Calabarzon with 1,035 infections, and Central Luzon with 516.
Among areas with the most cases, Quezon City led with 495 infections, followed by Cavite with 308 and Rizal with 277. Meanwhile, a total of 10,966 tests were conducted on Monday, which will reflect the number of cases registered on Wednesday. The DOH earlier warned the public that daily infections may reach around 700 by Feb. 15 if minimum public health standards continued to be eased up or when more variants of COVID-19 enter the country.
