Dominik Szoboszlai explained his Steven Gerrard-influenced tattoo to surprised Liverpool team-mate Diogo Jota
Dominik Szoboszlai once again confirmed the meaning behind one of his tattoos is a link to Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard, much to the surprise of Diogo Jota.
" not a special reason but of course it’s a great number, a lot of great players had this number. And also I have a tattoo from Steven Gerrard, what he said – I don’t even remember when but before. It was also a reason why," Szoboszlai said revealing the connection during his introductory interviews.
In his native tongue, the ink scrawled along the Hungarian's left arm reads: "Talent is a blessing from God, but without incredible will and humility, it is worthless." As tattoos were brought up, Szoboszlai remained the furthest he could possibly go in the 'hot' section or the board, while his two team-mates moved furthest into 'not'."You took the wrong guys!" Szoboszlai joked.
