Yeah sure. Whatever you say, Don it
Protesters pictured outside the White House on Sunday. They began gathering at the president’s residence on Friday to rally against police brutality and racism
The president was accused of further inflaming the situation by tweeting that protesters would be met by ‘the most vicious dogs’ and ‘the most ominous guns’ if they did manage to enter the White House grounds. He also claimed that young Secret Service agents ‘love’ the practice that clashing with rioters gives them.
The president was condemned on Monday after peaceful protesters and at least one priest was tear-gassed so he could walk from the White House to a nearby church damaged in the riots for publicity photos. Trump posed with a Bible on the steps of St John’s Episcopal Church for 17 minutes, but did not say a single prayer or mention George Floyd’s name. A spokesman for the president has disputed tear gas was used, but the US Centers for Disease Control has refuted that denial.
