A Donald Trump rally goer took credit for the 'Biden hog-tied' truck in an interview shared on social media on Saturday.In March, Trump, the presumed GOP presidential nominee, shared a video on his social media platform Truth Social showing a pick-up truck driving down a highway on Long Island, New York, with a decal depicting President Joe Biden, Trump's likely opponent in November's election, hog-tied as if he had been taken captive in the back of the truck.
Michael Tyler, the Biden campaign's communications director, said at the time, 'Trump is regularly inciting political violence and it's time people take him seriously — just ask the Capitol police officers who were attacked protecting our democracy on January 6 .'In response to the criticism, Trump spokesman Steven Cheung said in a previous statement that the 'picture was on the back of a pickup truck that was traveling down the highway.
