’s ex-fixer Michael Cohen said Donald Trump’s children Don Jr and Ivanka may have been compromised by Russia during the 2016 presidential election campaign.Cohen testified before the House Oversight Committee Wednesday and claimed that Trump’s ‘whole family’ – including son-in-law Jarred Kushner, were involved in plans to build a Trump Tower in Moscow, which made them susceptible to Russian influence.
‘I wouldn’t use the word colluding. Was there something odd about the back and forth praise with President Putin? yes,’ Cohen said. Trump claimed that he relinquished control of his company after he entered the White House. Cohen did not get deep into the details of the Trump companies dealings in Russia, claiming that the matter is being handled by Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation.
