US Studies Centre Senior Fellow Stephen Loosley says history never repeats itself but in the case of Donald Trump and OJ Simpson’s trial, it “does rhyme”.
“What we’re seeing here in any number of ways – a celebrity being at the junction of American politics, law and media – being an extraordinary repeat of the
kinds of coverage, the kinds of intense scrutiny of OJ Simpson, we’re now seeing with former President Donald Trump,” Mr Loosely told Sky News host Cory Bernardi.
