'They must pay!'
The president made the statement Sunday in a tweet, writing; ‘I am a great friend and admirer of the Queen & the United Kingdom. It was reported that Harry and Meghan, who left the Kingdom, would reside permanently in Canada.’
‘Now they have left Canada for the U.S. however, the U.S. will not pay for their security protection. They must pay!’ Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex and Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, recently moved from Vancouver Island in Canada to Los Angelas, where Markle grew up. The UK and US have a longstanding pact to provide security for each country’s diplomats and members of the Royal Family when they visit. However, Prince Harry may not benefit from the agreement after he and Meghan stepped down as senior Royals in January, meaning they are no longer ‘international protected persons.’
