The photo, posted by Melania Trump, features the president and First Lady as they visited the two cities shocked by mass shootings over the weekend – but many accused Trump of using it as a shameful publicity stunt. The two-month-old infant in the image lost both of his parents, Jordan and Endre Anchondo, as they shielded their child from an alleged white supremacist’s gunfire at the El Paso Walmart.
Melania Trump is also seen smiling at the University of El Paso Medical Center as she holds the infant. The youngster’s hand is broken, although he was reportedly not at the hospital when the Trumps arrived in town.The infant was sent back to his grandparents’ house. But Trump sent two White House employees to ask for the baby to return to the hospital – where his parents died – for the photo op, according to ABC reporter David Alandete.
