The DOT issued the statement in reaction to a Facebook post saying that 13 people were charged P26,100 seafood they ordered.According to Tourism Secretary Christina Frasco, the DOT has been in touch with Gov. Aris Aumentado and Mayor Edgardo “Boy” Arcay, who said they had launched an investigation of the matter.

“Our Regional Office is also coordinating with the LGUs to provide guidance on standards for the provision of tourist goods and services,” the DOT said.
