Police are yet to make an arrest
Officers are searching for a knife attacker after two men were stabbed in north Manchester. Police were called out to Crumpsall by North West Ambulance Service as paramedics responded to a stabbing on St Mary's Hall Road at 10.40pm on Wednesday .
Greater Manchester Police says two men, aged 19 and 20, were taken to hospital after suffering stab injuries. Their condition is described as stable. A blue forensic tent has been erected outside St Mary's Court. Police have closed off St Mary's Hall Road this morning , while officers have searched surrounding areas including Ardern Road, Holland Road and Crumpsall Lane.No arrests have been made so far. Police have been seen searching gutters, behind bushes and around properties in the area throughout today as the investigation continues.
A GMP spokesperson added: "No arrests have been made at this time, but detectives have been working through the night and into this morning to try and establish a timeline of events leading up to this incident. A cordon will remain in place on St Mary’s Court Road whilst officers work to conduct initial enquiries."
Police are asking any witnesses, anyone with information or anyone with dashcam/CCTV footage to come forward as soon as possible. Information can be passed on to CID detectives directly on 0161 8564304, quoting log number 3749 of November 6, 2024, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
