The PSA has said the PCC knew about complaints relating to Paul Anderson earlier than was claimed.
The OPCC previously said Mr Evison was first made aware of complaints against the chief constable on 19 June
The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner previously said it was made aware of a complaint on 28 May Sources within the force said the delay in reporting the complaint allowed Mr Anderson to "continue to behave inappropriately and erratically".
