A 35-year-old Douglas County man was arrested for sexual exploitation of a child for the third time, according to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.
Stacy Garrett Suppeland previously pleaded guilty to felony sexual exploitation of a child in 2013 and 2020, according to court records.
“Our priority remains the protection of our children and the enforcement of justice, and we will continue to work tirelessly to ensure the safety of Douglas County residents,” Sheriff Darren Weekly said in a statement. In 2020, Suppeland pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual exploitation of a child and was sentenced to 16 days in jail and 15 years intensive supervised probation, according to court records. Two other exploitation counts were dismissed.
