Hugh Bonneville was seen at Michelle Dockery and Jasper Waller-Bridge's wedding last week without both his wedding ring and wife Lulu, and now it's been confirmed they have split
The Downton Abbey actor, 59, was seen not wearing his wedding ring at the recent nuptials of Michelle Dockery, 41, and Jasper Waller-Bridge and without his partner.The split was confirmed to The Sun by a spokesperson for Hugh, who lived with his wife in West Sussex, on Friday.
A source told the newspaper: “It’s a shame as locally they were known to be a very sociable couple. Hugh has been away from home filming a lot this year.OK! has contacted representatives for Hugh for comment. The fact that Hugh was spotted without Lulu at Michelle and Jasper's wedding was unusual as the pair were regularly seen at events together.Their split comes after they marked their 20th wedding anniversary in a poignant way- renewing their vows in Las Vegas's Graceland chapel.
Hugh and Lulu were friends as teens but their romance didn't blossom until their 30s, when they got in touch again and reunited, with the help of his mother Patricia. He's also previously called his wife, who he married in 1998, his bedrock and anchor, praising her highly.
