Downtown excitement grows with Women’s Final Four, Guardians home opener and total solar eclipse
CLEVELAND , Ohio - Michelle and Travis Steele are in Cleveland this weekend to see their daughter, Laci, and the North Carolina State Wolfpack at the Women’s Final Four.
They are just some of the people making their way to Cleveland for an action-packed weekend, including basketball, baseball and the total solar eclipse.“All the way from Maryland,” she said. “I’m excited for the Final Four, I’m going to attend some coaching clinics while I’m here, I’m excited about that, and I’m excited to try the food down here. I’ve never been to Ohio before, either.”
“We’re going to be watching the games for sure, watching the home opener, we’re so pumped,” Dave Karam said. “We’ve talked about extending our trip,” Michelle Steele said. ”Right now we’re supposed to leave on Monday, but we’ve already discussed that we may need to stay another day.”
